Shattered Dreams

I HAVE A DREAM
No
I Have A DREAM
Impossible
I Have a DREAM
Too hard
I have a DREAM
You will fail
I have a Dream
Not practical
I have a dream
You tried before
i have a dream
Can't be done
I HAD A DREAM

Today's project required pieces of glass.

Dreams are one of the driving forces in life.  Dreams give us hope for tomorrow.  Dreams give us a reason to get up in the morning.  Dreams make the struggles of today less ominous.  Dreams change lives.  Dreams change the world.  Dreams are fragile.

Do you know a dreamer?  Do you believe they have their heads in the clouds?  Do you think their ideas are ridiculous?  What do you say when they talk about their dreams?  It is so easy to shatter a dream.  A simple word, your tone of voice, the look on your face is all it takes to destroy someones dreams.

Why are dreams important?  They hold hope for a better life.  They hold the desire to be better than we are now.  They hold passion, drive, determination and compassion.

Guard your dreams, no matter how small.  Guard the dreams of your children, no matter how large.  Guard the dreams of your friends, no matter how difficult.  Guard the right to dream.  Shattered dreams are living on our streets.  Shattered dreams are sleeping under our bridges.  Shattered dreams are bringing despair to our youth.  Shattered dreams are destroying hope.

Love your dreams.
