Puzzled

For those of you expecting a poem, it is in the above puzzle.  This is a cryptogram with colors instead of letters.  Here are some clues for solving it.  Only eighteen letters of the alphabet are used.  Black represents a space between words.  Pink represents the letter E.  Teal (middle space in first row) represents the letter O.  Please note that the subtle differences in the shades of colors do indeed represent a different letter.  Look carefully.

Today's project required a black marker, paper and crayons.

Puzzles.  I love them.  Word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, number puzzles, picture puzzles, if it is a puzzle bring it on.  The greatest puzzles?  Life and Love.  As we walk our path each day we are trying to piece together our day to fit within a particular time frame.  When running a list of errands, we try to figure out the most efficient path to take.  If the errands include picking up groceries, or children, or supplies then you have to consider what time restraints must be met, will anything melt, will everything fit?

When a friend calls and wants to talk, you have to figure out what if anything should be said.  If something should be said then when?  After figuring out when then how should you say it?  Add to that trying to figure out what they expect from you?  What you are willing to do to help?  And the list goes on.

When you are at work and someone says something that you find offensive.  Do you talk to them about it?  Do you report it to your supervisor?  Do you laugh it off?  Do you ignore them completely?  Do you avoid them?  What is the best thing to do?

Puzzles everyday in every way.

The most fascinating puzzle to me is figuring out love.  It has so many meanings and so many levels.  Love changes how you act, how you speak, how you listen, how you react, how guarded you are, how protective you are?  The list is endless.  And the most incredible part, no two puzzles are alike.  For example, I have four children.  I love everyone of them equally but differently.  Every child is so unique in what comforts them, what they expect from me, how they process information and how they respond.  I do not love one more than any of the others.  Each love puzzle is different.

Another example, When I think about the greatest love story I think of several examples in my family.  There is the love story of my grandparents who have been together for seventy plus years.  There is the love story of my parents who have been together for fifty plus years.  There is the love story of my older brother and his wife who have been together for almost twenty seven years.  There is the love story of my younger brother and his wife who have been together for almost twenty five years.  Every story full of love, laughter, strength, endurance and joy.  Every story unique. Every story great.

What makes every story so unique is the individual pieces to the puzzle.  We are all a specific piece in a grand puzzle that makes up this incredible world we live in.  What piece are you?
